DANISHA

Danisha M. Burnett-Bonner has been described in many ways: a leader, teacher, mentor, motivator, minister, counselor, sister, and friend.  The list continues.   Danisha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Professional Education from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.  She continued on to study and complete a Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Counseling, also from Xavier University.  She has worked as a licensed counselor through the state of Ohio, Michigan and New York for the last twenty years.  Danisha is also a nationally certified counselor with extensive history of treating trauma-survivors. Throughout her life, she has worked and served in various capacities, touching the lives of countless individuals.  Her career has taken her to elementary, middle and high schools, residential group homes, correctional facilities, the campuses of colleges and universities, hospitals, and shelters.  She has had the privilege of working with individuals and families servicing their mental health needs to provide stability in their lives. She continues this work in her private practice. 

Her services to the community locally and internationally include establishing and facilitating programs geared towards youth and young adults, and programs with specific focuses on pre-teen and adolescent girls, and women. She has worked and taught in various settings for personal and professional growth, academic and spiritual enrichment for over twenty years. She has extensive experience in management and administrator roles and is a sought-after organizational leadership trainer, specializing in trauma-responsive organizational change. Her training as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Training Supervisor,  and her passion to see people live balanced and successful lives, has been displayed in her professional and personal endeavors. Danisha is often sought after to help entities develop their individual and community-based programs. She was an Adjunct Professor at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Oh and was a consultant and faculty member of The Sanctuary Institute in Yonkers, NY. 

Among other areas of personal and professional training, Danisha is the founder and director of ministry operations of The QUEENsized MissionThrough this entity, and it's offshoot entity GENERATION: Princess, Danisha conducts seminars, conferences and empowerment sessions for women and young girls, calling them to live life on a higher level, walking in the realization and actualization of their self-worth and divine destiny.  Danisha is also the founder and owner of THE CROWN, LLC, a consulting and educational company that offers “Total Healing Experiences” to those in need. Danisha is also the founder and director of The TRUST AcademyTM, a training center working to create trauma-informed churches. Danisha is an ordained elder and has served in ministry for almost thirty years. Danisha is the proud wife of Justin E. Bonner. Together, they pastor River of Freedom Ministries, Inc and host the Focus on ME podcast and authored King Me. Danisha has also authored four other inspirational books.
